Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the Village of Volente, Texas and the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Village of Volente , Texas will hold a Joint Meeting on Tuesday the 21st day of September, 2004, at 7:00 p.m., at the Volente Fire Hall & Community Building, 15406 FM 2769, Volente, Texas, at which time the following items will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Call to Order, Roll Call and Establishment of a Quorum.

2. Citizens Comments . This is an opportunity for citizens to address the City Council concerning an issue of community interest that is not on the agenda. Citizens Comments should be limited to no more than 3 minutes.                   (1) Consider approval of revised field notes to change the Village of                              Volente City limits to conform with the southern boundary of preserve                         lands;
                  (2) Consider approval of an amendment to the MUD Creation                                Agreement, adopted October 29th, 2003, to reflect changing the                           boundary of the Volente Municipal Utility District (MUD); and
                  (3) Consider ratifying that the proposed new area reflected by the                                proposed new field notes is consistent with the MUD Creation                          Agreement.

Presentation by applicant for a health & safety variance to the non-residential building moratorium, pertaining to proposed improvements submitted by the Volente Beach Club to accommodate relocating the ticket/entry booth such that patrons will be able to queue safely without forming a line onto the street or public right-of-way which has resulted in a hazard to both pedestrians and motor vehicles.
